It promises to be an exciting day of action today (Sunday) as the 2016 Nigeria Professional Football League Super-Four competition comes to an end with three teams still with a chance clinching the title, reports Completesportsnigeria.com.
League champions, Enugu Rangers who sit at the top of the standings with four points will face Oriental rivals, FC IfeanyiUbah in the second match of the day and the outcome of the first game of the day between second placed Wikki Tourists who also have four points and Rivers United who are on three points will determine the result they will need to claim the title.
Rangers coach, Imama Amapakabo paraded a largely experimental side in his team's goaless draw against Wikki Tourists on Friday and he has promised to keep up with that against the Anambra Warriors.
The Flying Antelopes struggled to convert the many chances they created against IfeanyiUbah and it remains to be seen if Amapakabo will be tempted to bring back top scorer, Chisom Egbuchulam to the starting lineup.
FC IfeanyiUbah are out of contention after losing their opening two games and will only play for pride in the game.
Wikki Tourists and Rivers United will hope to put pressure on Rangers when they clash in the first match of the day.
A win for either side will see them move top of the log but the overall winner won't be known until the final game.
