Didn’t put a foot wrong in the game. Always willing to support the attack, while she also performed her defensive task dutifully.

Put up her best performance of the competition so far. Ayinde didn’t allow the Equatorial Guineans to gain any foothold in the middle of the park.

RITA CHIKWELU 7/10

She was handed the captaincy arm band for the match . And she proved her qualities for the first time in the competition. She got on the score sheet for the first time, scoring her side’s sixth goal of the game.

NGOZI OKOBI 8/10

Kept her place in the team after she was handed a starter’s shirt in the previous game against Zambia. Worked hard as usual and was at her creative best in the game.

FRANCISCA ORDEGA 8/10

Grabbed a goal and an assist like she did in the previous game against Zambia. She was a thorn in the flesh of the opposition with her direct approach and dribbling skills.

ASISAT OSHOALA 9/10

Came alive for the first time in the tournament. Africa’s best player got a hat trick and was duly handed the Woman of The Match award.

DESIRE OPARANOZIE 8/10

Another impressive showing from the France-based forward. Oparanozie scored Nigeria’s fifth goal of the game and also grabbed an assist.

The Ibom Angels played her first game of the competition coming on for Ebere Ngozi. Proved she can be a good replacement for her teammate.
