Enugu Rangers and Wikki Tourists played out a 0-0 draw  in their Nigeria Professional Football League Super Four clash at the Nnamdi Azikwe Stadium, Enugu on Friday.

The Flying Antelopes who have the same four points with Wikki  stay on top of the standings on goal difference.

Rangers coach Imama Amapakabo made 11 changes to the side that beat Rivers United 2-0 in their first game with new signings Bright Silas, Charles Henlong, Osamudiamen Adun and Morris Enete making their firsts start in the competition.

Chukwudi Samuel and Omoh Johnson made their first starts for Wikki Tourists as Mohammed Babaganaru kept faith with the majority of the players that beat FC IfeanyiUbah 2-1 on match-day one.

Rangers created the first chance of the game in the first minute through Chiamaka Madu but Emeka Nwabulu made a fine save to deny the league champions the chance of taking an early lead.

Silas' effort hit the woodwork few minutes later while Rangers goalkeeper Itodo Akor stopped a goal-bound shot from Omoh Johnson a minute before the half hour mark.

Silas also missed a glorious chance in the 33rd minute when he failed to tap home from close range.

Wikkis key men, Idris Sabo, Bature Yaro and Shamah Tanze, were marked out of the game as the Bauchi Elephants struggled to replicate their performance in the opening game.

Rangers made a lively start to the second half with Ocheme Edoh having his shot saved by Nwabulu.

Edoh turned provider in the 62nd minute but Madu failed to connect his beautiful cross.

Imama introduced his key stars Tope Olusesi, Godwin Aguda and Osas Okoro 20 minutes from time but his side still failed to find the winner.

Rangers will face FC IfeanyiUbah in their final game on Sunday, while Wikki will come up against Rivers United.
