Football fans in Nigeria will be able to watch Friday night’s friendly match between Poland and Nigeria at the Municipal Stadium, Wraclow live on cable television station SuperSport, reports Completesportsnigeria. com.
The match, which both teams are using as part of their preparations towards the 2018 FIFA World Cup in Russia, will kick off at 8.45 Nigerian time.
A presenter on SuperSport confirmed to CSN that the pay-TV station has concluded arrangements to transmit the match live to millions of Nigerians.
There are also reports that the match will be on terrestrial, free-to-air TV with Africa Independent Television, but a senior official told CSN that he was “was not certain yet” when he was asked to confirm if AIT would be showing the match.
The Super Eagles will also face Serbia in another tune-up game next Tuesday in London.
The Poles are expected to line up their top stars like Robert Lewandowski and Lucasz Fabianski amongst others in the encounter, while Nigerians will be eager to see Victor Moses, Odion Ighalo, Wilfred Ndidi, Alex Iwobi and other overseas-based stars in action against Adam Nawalka’s men.
Nigeria will face two-time world champions Argentina, debutants Iceland and 1998 semi-finalists Croatia in Group D at the World Cup.
