As part of its efforts towards ensuring that the Super Eagles gets the desired support during the forthcoming Brazil 2014 World Cup, Nigeria Football Supporters Club has put modalities on ground to mobilize Nigerians in Brazil on the need to give maximum support to the national team during the Mundial.
Speaking to Complete Sports, President General of the Club, Rafiu Ladipo noted that the mobilization became necessary because it has been discovered that out of more than 1000 seats allocated to Nigeria by the world football ruling body FIFA only 400 has been subscribed by Nigerians.
”The Supporters club is embarking on the mobilization to enable Nigerians living in Brazil know the need to support the Super Eagles during the World Cup.
“It is unfortunate that only 400 seats out of more than 1000 seats allocated to Nigeria by FIFA have been booked by Nigerians and 300 of these seats were booked by members of the club which necessitated our embarking on the mobilization.
Ladipo who alongside the Secretary General of the club Samuel Ikpea travelled to Brazil last Thursday to officially inaugurate that country’s chapter of the club as well as kick start the mobilization assured Nigerians that the club is doing all it can to ensure that the national team receives maximum support at the Mundial.
