Sweden U-23 midfielder Simon Tibbling has expressed hope that Paris Saint-Germaine star Zlatan Ibrahimovic is included in their squad for this summer's Olympic Games in Rio.
Sweden, who last took part at the football event of the Olympics in Barcelona 1992, are in Group B with Nigeria, Colombia and Japan.
Although Ibrahimovic has indicated that he is not interested in playing in Rio as one of Sweden's overaged players, Tibbling, who plays for Groningen in the Dutch Eredivisie, said with Ibrahimovic on their side, they stand a chance of winning games in Rio.
"Zlatan Ibrahimovic is naturally very welcome," Tibbling told FIFA.com.
"That would be fantastic for us. He's an outstanding player who can win games all by himself.
"If we have the chance to play with a player like him, we mustn't let it pass. He's an idol in Sweden, not just for me personally."
