By Kayode Ogundare in Uyo:
Saturday's dead-rubber Africa Cup of Nations 2017 qualifier between Nigeria and the Taifa Stars of Tanzania may be a formality but the East Africans are taking the game seriously and want a shock win, Completesportsnigeria.com reports.
According to Taifa Stars winger Simon Msuva, Tanzania are as good as the Nigerians and they are in Uyo to end their campaign on a high.
"We have a young team just like Nigeria and we are as good as they are. We showed that in the first leg at home and we can do iton Saturday again. One thing we don't know is fear and we'll show it on the pitch on Saturday," the winger who plays for Young Africans back home boasted to Completesportsnigeria.com.
Asked what area he believes the Nigerians are very vulnerable, Msuva says: "I shouldn't be telling you that even though we know. All I can tell you is that I'm a very fast player and the coaches are planning to use me on the right against your left full-back. I hope to have a good game."
The Taifa Stars had a feel of the Godswill Akpabio Stadium pitch on Friday evening in preparation for the game on Sunday.
Tanzania sit in last place behind Nigeria in the table with Egypt already picking the sole ticket from the three-team group.
