The champion is like the beautiful bride, everyone wishes to be like her. There are normally speeches of how good they had put in their best and most people seem to draw reference from their success and make it their benchmark.
When champions put in all their best the taste of victory is sweet. Very few seems to have envisioned well enough what it takes to become a champion. The biggest challenges champions face is retaining their title.
If you think you won the first time then winning the second would prove you are no fluke. The Champion’s League since its name became the UEFA Champions League (UCL) is yet to get a champion who retained the title back-to-back. The best you get is a team that finally won the title a second, third or fourth time. No team has won the champions league back-to-back.
When you are the champion on the spotlight, you are obviously the benchmark for the rest who would legitimately do anything to be in your shoes. It would only be unwise if you don’t step up your game when you finally become champion.

I believe we all are like the best teams when we become champions and no matter how big we all get, someone out there would do anything to understudy us and prove their mettle. The onus is then left on us to we keep proving our victory was no fluke by continuous beating on our
In this game it’s me against the world.
