–In Copa Libertadores 1st Leg, Final

Ike Uche’s Tigres UANL, were held to a goaless draw at home by Argentina’s River Plate in their first leg, final of the Copa Libertadores.
The game which was played inside the Estadio Universitario de Nuevo Leon, in Mexico, did not feature Uche who is still nursing a knee injury.
The return leg comes up in Argentina on Wednesday 5th August.
To get to the final, Tigres defeated Brazil’s Internacional 4-3 on aggregate.
Copa Libertadores is South America’s equivalent of UEFA Champions League, or CAF Champions League. No Mexican Club have won the prestigious title.
After spending most of his career in Spain, where he featured for the likes of Granada, Getafe and Villareal, Uche joined Tigres for a fee of €3.5M.
