Super Eagles defender Uche Agbo has been linked with a move to Italian side, Torino reports Completesportsnigeria.com.
The Standard Liege star who is currently in his second season at the club is wanted on loan by the Turin club with a possibility of buying the 24 year old outrightly next summer for €5m.
According to the Italian outlets Calciomercato and Toro.it, Torino see Agbo as a combative player who will add steel to the midfield of the club since the departure of Joel Obi to Chievo Verona last Sunday.
Agbo who is expected to be in action tonight (Tuesday) when Standard Liege takes on Ajax in the second leg third qualifying round clash at the Amsterdam Arena, has made 45 appearances in all competitions for his Belgian club scoring one goal and providing four assists since he joined them last season from Spanish side, Granada.
Meanwhile, Nigerian full-back Ola Aina is closing in on a loan move to Torino from Chelsea.
The defender played on a season loan at Championship club, Hull City last term.
Both Aina and Agbo were dropped from Nigeria’s squad to the 2018 FIFA World Cup in Russia.
