Congratulations to the SuperFalconets. Terrific display of gritt and determination. That goal line clearance was absolutely vital. I wish them all the best against Spain.

Oakfield , there is no jinx here ?
..the falconet have reached the finals of under 20 twice, beaten by Germany on both occasion!!…what they need now to break is to win the cup , but I don’t this set can do it because their attack is blunt!!

I think Oakfield is referring to the Flamingos. The female U17. This is the U20 and the Falconets have reached the final twice losing to Germany on both occasions. You may be right Steve. This set is very solid defensively, but their attack leaves a lot to be desired with the exception of Ajibade

Thanks guys for bringing me up to speed, all the best to them….

  • Nigeria is the worst team in that group. The coach is clueless (he could have been a good interpreter though). Your Ajibade is shit. The only girl that have won my heart from the very first match is the goalkeeper, if not for her. I believe French clubs have already taken note

So the worst team in the group actually got to the quarter final. Then Fifa needs to learn from you how to adjust the game of football so that the best team can progress. God will help us in this country.

@ Ikeben. Excellent reply…..Excellent reply. I am clapping my hands for you at the moment. That the worst team in the group qualifying for the next round is the most senseless comment anyone can make at ds point in time. Fifa really needs to do something fast…LMAO

Those who were criticising the girls should apologize. Another apology should go to the coaches who were shouting at the top of their voices sometimes in Yoruba and these same guys criticize him. Someone on this forum said the shouting was because these girls are young and so most times needs to be told what to do when they are with or without the ball. It has paid off because up to the point, the coaches, even our female staffs were shouting. Please shout more in the q-final even in WaZoBia languages.

  • not that Nigerian play more than chains but God decided crown us victory and we are victor.pls they should learn how to givepass and attack

THANKS TO GOD WHO GAVE US VICTORY. WE DID NOT PLAY AS EXPECTED BT WE WERE ABLE TO CURTAIL THEM. HONESTLY, DS OUR GIRLS MUST IMPROVE THEIR GAMES ESPECIALLY D ATTACK. IT WILL B TOUGH AGAINST SPAIN ANY WAY. GOOD LUCK TO THEM

Football is not mathematics, and never an exact science. That’s why we follow sports because the unexpected is always likely the happen.

  • we should learn how to encouraged our women’s term rather than crises them. And again, they should attack and let the coach bring the skillful midfielder in other to give accurate passes.

  • People can never be satisfy in life. supposing they lost and fail to qualify they will complain now they won they re still bashing them. They forgot that this was what our super eagles failed to do against Argentina despite playing well, we all said they were not lucky but this time around it came our way we should thank God and hope for the best in the subsequent matches after all this is not the first time a team who has not been playing well will go all the way and win a competition.
