Nigeria's U-23 side have arrived in Mbour, venue of Sunday's Group B game against Mali at the Africa U-23 Nations Cup, reports Completesportsnigeria.com.
The team Completesportsnigeria.com scooped arrived in Dakar at 5am (6am Nigerian time) on Thursday and then travelled to Mbour by road, a journey which lasted about three hours.
Samson Siasia's men are lodged at the Framissima Palm Beach Hotel where the Malians are also staying.
The team's midfielder, Baure Yaro, told Completesportsnigeria.com that they are looking forward to their opening fixture against Mali with high hopes.
The Nasarawa United star also said the team's main focus is to secure the ticket to play in the football event of the 2016 Rio Olympics Games.
"The first game is always important and we are looking forward to getting a win against Mali on Sunday," Bature told Completesportsnigeria.com from the team's Framssima Palm Beach Hotel base on Thursday.
"Our target is qualify for the Olympics and everyone in the team is focused on achieving that."
The best three teams at the competition will represent the continent at the Olympics, while the fourth-placed side will take on an Asian representative in a play-off for a berth at the Games.
