U-23 Eagles duo, Usman Mohammed and Bature Yaro, have both arrived at the home-based Eagles Bolton White Apartments camp, Abuja, Completesportsnigeria.com can report.
Both players were granted one week break by the handlers of the side following their participation at the Africa U-23 Nations Cup in Senegal where the team won the competition and also secured a berth to represent Africa in the football event of the Rio 2016 Olympics.
Their arrival has now increased the number of players in camp to 25, with Rangers defender, Kalu Orji, the only player yet to report camp.
Usman played in all of Nigeria’s five games in Senegal, while Bature made four substitute appearances.
The home-based Eagles will look to better their record at the last edition of the competition in South Africa where they came third.
They will open their account in the competition on January 18 against Niger, with group games against Tunisia and Guinea to come after that.
Libya are the defending champions of the competition reserved for senior players plying their trade in their country’s domestic league.
