  • Gosh! He has done it again! Another header, another goal!

Quite rightly referred to as a’Nigeria International’ in the opening paragraph of the article above, Super-fast Sylvester Igboun followed up his man-of-the-match performance earlier in the week with another superb display this today.

His close range precision header that set his side to victory was a joy to see.

Indeed, as highlighted by the article, 2 goals in 5 matches thus far this seasons bear the hallmark of a striker in form.

Should he maintain this momentum, then the resumption of his Super Eagles career that began in 2015 may be at hand.

    • Similar to earlier in the week, Igboun also recorded an assist in this match.

His lighten quick and powerful drive from the left to leave a defender gasping for air, followed by his eloquent cut-back laid the ball on the plate for Oblyakov to double his side’s advantage.

I don’t know who is faster in this guy and Musa; perhaps it would have to be Musa, only just.

Where do we get all these Musas, Tijanni Bababgidas, Imoh Ezekiels and Obafemi Martins from???

  • How is igboun fast i watch him under oliseh d guy was a big flop.

He wasn’t a flop.He is a decent player scored couple of goals during Oliseh’s time. His problem of not getting noticed by Rohr was that he was playing in a small club in Russia and wasn’t as hot as he is this season.
If he carries on with this performances in subsequent weeks he would be getting the attention of Rohr.
    God bless Nigeria!
