Nigerian forward, Paul Onuachu failed to rescue his Danish club, Midtylland who crashed out of the Champions League after they were held to a 0-0 draw by Kazakhstani club, Astana in the second leg of their second qualifying round fixture at the MCH Arena, Heining on Wednesday, reports Completesportsnigeria. com.
Midtylland fought hard in the game but lost out 2-1 on aggregate.
The hosts needed just one goal to progress into the next round but failed to hit the back of the net for the entire duration of game.
Midtylland’s other Nigerian player, Ogochukwu Frank was also involved from the start in the game.
Frank was replaced by Mikkeh Deuland in the 71st minute.
