Former Super Eagles defender, Ifeanyi Udeze, has sensationally revealed to Completesportsnigeria.com that there is a persistent 'positive pressure' on him, from some highly placed football administrators, to take to coaching in football.
The onetime West Bromwich Albion, and AEK Athens left-back spoke exclusively to Completesportsnigeria.com on what he has been doing since he hanged his football boots.
"At the moment, what I do is that I scout young, talented players for my former Greek club, PAOK and take them to Greece. I'm also into delivery, you know just like haulage services, with an office in Apapa, Lagos.
"However, there has been serious pressure, positive one though, from some officials of the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) for me to consider a career in coaching.
"I have a fragile heart. That is why I doubt I can be a coach. However, you never can tell everything, I may have a change of heart in the future.
"Being a coach means you have to have a strong heart. I have always said i don't want to have those headaches, but coaching is a great job," Udeze told Completesportsnigeria.com.
