Udoh, Nwanna Score In Enyimba 4-0 Triumph

–Pillars pip Akwa 1-0 to retain top spot

Enyimba of Aba leading scorer, Mfom Udoh grabbed his 13th goal of the season scoring in the People’s Elephant 4-0 thrashing of Bayelsa United Sunday at the Aba township Stadium.

Udoh added to his tally during the added time of the first half after Chimezie Amanfor had opened the floodgate of goals for the home side with Nzube Anaezemba and veteran striker Emeka Nwanna sealing the win on the dot of 90 minutes.

With the win, the six time league champions retain their third spot on the log with 33 points, four shy of leaders, Kano Pillars and three points behind Nasarawa United who have 44 points after Sunday’s 2-0 defeat of Sharks of Port Harcourt in Lafia.

Enugu Rangers remain unbeaten in two consecutive games with a hard fought 1-0 victory over Warri Wolves.
