“Everything that next year holds concerning our competition, we want to collect them. Like what the chief coach Manu Garba said when he discussed with all the crew attached to the team, we have to do our utmost best so that at the end of the day we will come out victorious. It is very important that we do something good so that we will restore the confidence of Nigerians,” Ugbade states in during an exclusive chat with Completesportsnigeria.com
The former Golden Eaglets assistant coach stated further that the team is not under any form of pressure to succeed in Senegal.
“There will be no time that the expectation will not be high. But the most important is that with the current situation of the Super Eagles, there wouldn’t be any other option than to face the next one which is the U-20, so we know that there is a lot of pressure. But we are not thinking of the pressure, we are thinking positively.”
The Flying Eagles will hope to go one better than their predeccessors who got to the semi-finals at the last AYC held in Algeria before losing 2-0 to eventual winners of the championship Egypt.
