Werder Bremen summer signing Anthony Ujah has described his first training session with the Green-Whites at the Weser-Stadion as 'very exciting'.
The Nigerian international, who joined Werder Bremen this summer from FC Cologne, told the club's official website shortly after their obligatory lactate test on Wednesday afternoon that he was happy to have settled down well in Bremen and with his new teammates at the club.
"I'm very happy to finally get going. I came to Bremen a few days before training started to start looking for somewhere to live and I am pleased to finally be able to start," Ujah who scored ten league goals last season said in a chat with his club's website.
"Everyone is very friendly and have really taken me in well, be they fans or teammates. That was very important to me. The facilities here are also very, very good. My first impressions are good."
Ujah who signed a four year deal at the club was also joined by summer recruits Felix Wiedwald and Ulisses Garcia admitted that the coming days will be intense.
"We're happy to be training again. The next few days will definitely be intense, but we want to make real progress in Neuruppin.
"The heat probably won't play that much of a role, we can deal with it. And with such nice weather you're more likely to want to be outside anyway," he added.
