By James Agberebi: Rio 2016 Olympic Games bronze winner Aminu Umar bagged a brace as Osmanlispor defeated 10-man Akhisar Belediye in a Turkish top flight clash on Monday.
Nigerian international Umar has now scored four goals in 16 league appearances and five goals in all competitions.
Also, he has scored three goals in his last three games in all competitions for Osmanlispor this season.
Musa Cagiran gave Osmanlispor the lead in the 27th minute from the penalty spot before Soner Aydogdu equalised for Akhisar on 36 minutes.
Umar made it 2-1 in the 48th minute but they were pegged back again as Aydogdu converted a 59th minute penalty.
In the 63rd minute, Akhisar were reduced to 10 men as Omer Bayram received his marching orders.
Osmanlispor took advantage of the sending off as Umar scored to make it 3-2.
The win took Osmanlispor to 14th on 17 points, just two points above the relegation zone in the 18-team league table.
