Manchester United are lining up a double swoop for Bayern Munich stars Robert Lewandowski and Bastian Schweinsteiger.
United were heavily linked with a move for Lewandowski when it became clear he would be leaving Borussia Dortmund, but it was Bayern who won the race for his signature, landing him on a free transfer.
The Poland international has had a mixed time with the Bavarians and reports suggest they could be willing to cash in after just one season, with United leading the race.
The striker would command a heavy price tag, while his wages of £200,000 a week would also have to be met if United were to secure his signature.
Schweinsteiger has also been linked with a switch to the Premier League, with United again said to be in the hunt for the £10million-rated Germany captain.
