Uzoho Relishes EIche’s Win Vs Malaga

By Adeboye Amosu:
Super Eagles goalkeeper, Francis Uzoho, has hailed the performance of his Spanish Segunda B side, Elche in Friday’s 2-0 home win against Malaga, Completesportsnigeria.com reports.

A goal in each half from Neider Lozano in the 36th minute and another from Borja Martinez three minutes after the hour mark sealed Elche’s second win of the season after ten games.

“Great performance yesterday night guys, the fans 👏🏽we felt your support throughout the game,” Uzoho tweeted on Saturday morning.

The Super Eagles goalkeeper who is currently on a season loan deal from Deportivo La Coruna made four outstanding saves in the encounter.

The game was Uzoho’s second appearance for Elche and his first Segunda B game since he joined the modest side on loan this summer.

Elche moved up to 14th position in the Spanish Segunda B table with 11 points from ten games.

Elche will host Real Zaragoza at home in their next league game.

  • _ For the true fans _

Before joining this forum,I thought I knew a lot about Nigerian football. However, I have come to realise that I know next to nothing!
Thanks to some truly brilliant contributors on this forum, my knowledge of the game has grown in leaps and bounds. This is to say thank you to the following gentlemen (or ladies) : Kel, Ayphilly, Greenturf, Tgrace, BigD, Chima E Samuel, Uncle SunnyB, Haymaker, Kingmaker, Bomboy, Ashy, Edoman and Edoman of New Jersey,
Dr Drey, omo9ja, Oluwa, Ikeben, Walking, Chairmanfemi Fidelenny, onwajunior, Jones, Ako Amadi.

For those I missed out, I apologise as I am grateful to you too. Let’s continue sharing our knowledge of the game and bouncing ideas in a neighbourly manner.

Without this forum, I really would not visit CSN as often as I do so a big thank you to them as well.

Good luck to the Super Eagles and the Super Falcons in the month of November for the challenges before them.

    • @Deo we all learn from each other. I realise there is lot to to learn and we all feed off each other.

Finding authentic and upto date about Nigerian football and players is not easy. But with our discussions here we are plugging that gap in information flow.

I only have one team, the Super Eagles and I am always looking out for info regarding players, tactics and results.

One love deo, this website has become my go to for info, analysis and conversation

True football is the only unity at the moment when we don’t know which way Economy is going. Hahaha

@deo Godbless you. Thanks for acknowledging us. Very much appreciated. Thanks also for all your contributions to the forum and passion for the game. We’ve all been doing this right from the kickoffnigeria and mtnfootball days, and football is what brings us together. Thanks to CSN for keeping this going. Maybe one of these days we would organise a get together.

I want to thank a friend, Deo, for highlighting the topics which the contributors makes in this place. I must confess also that coming here to play , read comments of educated and civilized Nigerians gives me joy more than l could ever say. Above all these, are the values I derive from the belief that Nigerians, as a free football loving people, enjoys the equal freedom of expression and of opinion in a free Society which is a joy to behold. I learn from you guys everyday.

Despite our differences I always enjoy your articulate and eloquent contributions. Cheers bro. And to all my great sparing partners on the platform. From BigD to Chima E to SunnyB and co. I throway salute. Our differences is also our strength. God bless the SuperEagles of Nigeria. God bless Nigeria. #FLY LIKE AN EAGLE INTO THE FUTURE# SUPEREAGLES FOREVER.

How did I forget Ashy? Ashy Slashy baby or Bobo I troway salute oooo.

  • Let me do a small analysis of the community of furumites here. Lol.

Ah Deo! You’re the real G. Taking time to analyse every game and every player of national importance, staying balanced with his views and setting the tone for discourse on the story. Always a delight to read.

Edoman of New Jersey & Dr. Drey serve it raw, hot and spicy, never afraid to air their mind. Edoman will even go hard on his own kinsman, Ighalo. I love reading their takes and often smile. Lol.

Chima and Chairmanfemi’s are as blunt as blunt can be, keep the conversation going and offering other interesting perspectives.

Omo9ja, love or hate him, he sticks to his gun and opinions. And if proven wrong, he raises his hand up and admits. A true critique and naija soccer fan.

BigD is like encyclopedia of Naija players, home and abroad. Maybe he works with a football club. His knowledge is up there.

Ako Amadi, haven’t “seen” him here in while. Mature, balanced and concise contributions – Yes, and informed.

Onwajunior, Kingmaker, Haymaker, Fideleny, and SunnyB comment occasionally but always lovely to read their solid, valuable points. Me too, occasional contributions. Often read others and laugh.

With Ayphilly, Greenturf & Ashy Ashy, expect a fresh, insightful angle to the matter in discourse. Dissect the issues and tackle the points one by one.

Everyone’s views are valued, including anyone not captured above. Apologies.

Kel check your dictionary and gimme the definition of blunt or remain silent and blunt forever. Like play like play you Dey talk anyhow I’m coming to Nigeria for you!

      • [email protected] No vex oo. I dey pull una leg abeg. Hahahaha.

        • “Blunt” as in being brutally frank or honest with their opinions and not pander to what others may say or think. Not the other “blunt” (not sharp) nah. Haba, I know “blunt” has an ambiguous meaning. I dey gbadun your comments. Is Ashy Ashy female though?

          • Chima E Samuels 4 weeks ago

Lol I shock bro and was kidding can’t come to Nigeria to make trouble lol. Ashy will answer you because myself I am asking if she’s a female as the name sounds feminine. We have very few female die hard fans maybe we have one here.

A forumite once sent me an email knowing he was from here I was to happy to receive his msg that shows Nigerians are being united the more through football cus our politicians are “…ief”. Thanks to CSN but I really call for improvement of this platform even to an extent of having an app for CSN

There’s someone you guys left out, PapaFem. He seldom comments but when he does, his views are always balanced and brilliant, esp his historical angle to issues and how he tries to respect the views of others, even when they are against his before subtly chipping his own. I look forward to reading his comments. @ Deo, you’re great. I’m happy we are all contributing to Nigerian football.

  • Nicky T 4 weeks ago

There is someone you guys didn’t mention, PapaFem. He always has historical angle to issues; one of the few forumites who must have been watching the game for a long time. He’s in the mould of Aphilly that sometimes, you could be tempted to think its one person posting under two names. He analysizes very well too, and he’s also in the bracket of those who hardly throw insults at others. When he doesn’t buy your view, he counters it using historical facts, that at the end of the day, you’ll be reminded of something to think about. @Deo, you’re great. I think this is new here: a forumite appreciating others, and how he has benefited from the views of others. That’s humbling. We will all continue contributing to the growth of the game, that’s if those concerned are reading at all. I like reading others views rather air my own feelings. Bad habit, you’ll say.

Bro Deo, I salute you.like someone rightly said I think you should be called  Skippo Deo, and to other great contributors I hail everybody.Great debate, dissent opinions, or policy differences are some of the tools that makes a society great. Though we argue, and criticize the Super Eagles or praises them at times, pls guys nobody hates our players.we are all one in this boat going to the same destination. No retreat no surrender until Nigeria wins the World Cup.Love you all.

Bruv deo God bless you for this piece.
However,it’s this kind of thoughtful post that forestall disunity and apparently brings to the house oneness.
In less than one year this forum has snowballed rapidly in size, but without great and enthusiastic writers like Deo and the rest of you guys this great and interesting platform for intense sports discourse wouldn’t have reached this distinctive level.
So I want to use this medium to thank everyone of you for making us a family here on this forum and giving us something of amazing interest to look forward to reading on daily basis indeed it has been noteworthy.
God bless you all and God bless Nigeria!

I think this is new here: a member of the house, appreciating other members who have helped polish his views. That’s humbling. We’ll continue contributing to the growth of the game; that’s if those concerned are reading at all. I like reading the opinions of others though, rather than air my own. Bad habit, you may say. Lol
