Nigerian winger Michael Babatunde has been urged by Volyn coach Vitaly Kvartsyanogo to stay at the club for at least another month.
The 21 year old player had a conversation with Kvartsyanogo, where he expressed his desires to leave the club this summer but the gaffer wants the former Kryvbas player to wait till the winter transfer before making his exit from the club.
“I had a discussion with the coach where I told him I wanted to leave the club,”
“And he said he would not mind my transfer, but I should wait till the end of August, and maybe I’d leave Volyn,” Babatunde told Channel 2 +2 after his side’s 1-0 loss to Dnipro in the Ukrainian league last weekend.
Babatunde it would be recalled has resumed training five weeks after fracturing his wrist at the World Cup in Brazil in a match against Argentina. He made two appearances for his country Nigeria.
