By James Agberebi:
Nigeria's only surviving club side in continental competitions, Warri Wolves, lost 3-0 to AC Leopards in the first leg of their third round CAF Confederations Cup tie.
The game which was played in the DR Congo, saw Wolves concede two goals in the first half before conceding another in the second half.
They will welcome Leopards in the reverse fixture in a fortnight.
Failure by Wolves to progress into the group stage will see all the four Nigerian club sides who represented the country crash out.
Dolphins were the other team that took part in the CAF Confederations Cup but were knocked out in the earlier round.
