Watford manager, Quique Flores insists the club Nigerian import, Odion Jude Ighalo is not for sale despite the in-form forward coming close to a summer move to China completesportsnigeria.com can report.
Ighalo who played pivotal role in the Hornets promotion to the top flight from the Championship last season turned down a move €10 million move to Chinese side, Hebei in the summer.
Flores told the club’s official website the talented goal getter will not leave the club anytime soon.
“He had the chance to go out in the summer but decided to stay here and that was an amazing decision.
“When a player plays well, the value changes to buy him.
“But we now think Ighalo is our most important player, he is very happy and can play in different positions.
“I’m not scared about Ighalo. I’m happy with him and not thinking about what might happen in the winter market.”
The former Udinese of Italy hitman has scored four goals in his last four Premier League games and scored for Nigeria against Cameroon during the international break.
