Premier League side Watford are resigned to losing their leading scorer Odion Ighalo and hope to replace him with fellow Nigerian Isaac Success.
The Mirror claims Watford have an agreement in place that will see them listen to offers of around £12million for Ighalo, with Chelsea, Manchester United and Chinese clubs interested.
Ighalo’s current contract with Watford will not expire until June 2020.
Watford plan to raid Spanish club Granada – who are also controlled by their owner Gino Pozzo – to tie up Success on a pre-contract agreement to move to Vicarage Road.
FIFA U-20 World Cup 2015 player with the Flying Eagles, Success, 20, has four goals so far this season for a side struggling in La Liga’s bottom three. He is seen as Ighalo’s heir apparent, and his arrival would open the door for Watford’s top man to move on to a bigger club in the summer.
Ighalo, who also used to play for Granada, is Watford’s top scorer with 15 league goals this season having formed a potent partnership with Troy Deeney.
