Arsène Wenger has revealed that Gabriel Paulista could return to the Arsenal first team in Tuesday's third round English Football League match away to Nottingham Forest.
Paulista got injured in Arsenal's pre-season game against Manchester City and has not featured for the Gunners this season.
Wenger in his press conference revealed that Olivier Giroud, Aaron Ramsey and Carl Jenkinson will not be available for the game against Forest.
He however said Giroud could be back for Saturday's game against Chelsea.
"Everyone came out of the Hull game well. Giroud is still not available – we will see at the end of the week if he can join in [ahead of the Chelsea match]," Wenger said.
"Gabriel has a chance to play against Forest.
"Jenkinson is improving, he is not quite back in full training yet.
"Ramsey is still out – I don’t think he will be ready for the weekend either."
