Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger has talked up Raheem Sterling ahead of the Gunners’ clash with Liverpool on Sunday.
The England forward was influential when Brendan Rodgers’ men thumped Arsenal 5-1 in February.
And he was on form again in midweek, scoring twice in Liverpool’s Capital One Cup victory over Bournemouth.
“I think he is one of the great players in England. I rate him highly, Sterling.
“Everybody speaks about (Luis) Suarez last year, but let’s not forget [Daniel] Sturridge and Sterling are very, very influential.
“I think he is one of the great players in England.”
