West Ham manager Slaven Bilic is delighted to see Victor Moses score his first goal for the club against Manchester City on Saturday.
The Nigerian winger who is on a season-long loan from Chelsea put the Hammers ahead at the Etihad Stadium with a powerful 20-yard effort after just six minutes.
The goal set the tone for a 2-1 win for the visitors who ended the Citizens’ hundred percent record this season.
And Bilic has nice words for Moses who was the first player to score against Manuel Pellegrini’s men in the league this term.
“I am glad for Moses and he is great asset for us and we are just pleased to have him,” the Croatian told the club’s official website after masterminding their third away win of the campaign following victories against Arsenal and Liverpool.
Moses, who has been given a Super Eagles recall, had earlier in the week started his time with the London based side on a good note by impressing in West Ham’s 2-0 win against Newcastle United.
