By Adeboye Amosu: Wikki Tourists forward Godwin Obaje is disappointed with the result of Sunday's Nigeria Professional Football League matchday 25 fixture against Rangers, but insists the club will continue to push hard to win the title, reports Completesportsnigeria.com.
The Bauchi-based side missed the chance to extend their lead at the top of the table to five points after they were held to a goalless draw by their title rivals on Sunday at the Abubakar Tafawa Balewa Stadium.
Abdu Maikaba's men dominated the game from start to finish, but were let down by their poor marksmanship.
The former Mighty Jets striker told Completesportsnigeria.com that they have put the result behind them and are looking to doing better in subsequent games.
"Personally, I'm disappointed that we failed to beat Rangers at home," the league joint top scorer told Completesportsnigeria.com.
"We dominated the game but couldn't convert our chances. It was a big opportunity for us to increase our lead at the top, but we couldn't do that.
"I believe we still have a good chance of winning the title despite the setback and we will continue pushing hard till the end of the season."
Wikki are now without a win in their last two NPFL matches.
