American boxer Deontay Wilder has agreed to a heavyweight unification bout showdown with Nigerian-born British world champion Anthony Joshua in United Kingdom.
But a date is yet to be fixed to the mega bout.
Wilder, the World Boxing Council (WBC) heavyweight champion, is unbeaten in 40 bouts.
The 32-year-old boxer shared the news on his Twitter handle, stating that he is happy taking on Joshua who is undefeated in 21 bouts.
Joshua holds the WBA (Super), IBF, IBO and WBO titles.
“The $50million offer for him to fight me next in the US is still available,” Wilder wrote on Twitter on Monday night.
“Today I even agreed to their offer to fight Joshua next in the UK. If he prefers the fight in the UK, the ball is in their court.
“It’s up to them to choose.”
It remains to be seen if Joshua and his camp will agree to the deal offered for the fight.
