Winter Olympics: Nigerian Bobsled Team Drop To 20th In Sunday Heats

By Johnny Edward: Nigeria’s Bobsled team of Seun Adigun and Akuoma Omeoga dropped one spot from 19th to 20th in Sunday’s official Heats 3 and 4 at the Winter Olympics in PyeongChang, South Korea, Completesportsnigeria.com reports.

Both Adigun and Omeoga finished with time sof 52:96 and 53.60 seconds in Heat 3 and 4 respectively.

Elana Taylor and Lauren Gibbs came first with a time of 50:90 in heat 3 while Stephanie Schneiderlin and Anita Drazek finished second with a time of 50:93 seconds.

Jamie Poser and Aja Evans from USA came third with a 51:02 seconds.

In the official training in Heat 4, Stephanie Schneiderlin and Anita Drazek came tops with the time of 51:25 seconds while Elana Taylor and Lauren Gibbs came second with a time of 51:33.

Canadian pair of Christine De Brun and Melissa Lotholz came third with a time of 51:45 seconds.

The pair of Adigun and Omeoga will take part in Heat 5 and 6 official training on Monday.
