Warri Wolves continued their surge up the Glo Premier League table following a 1-1 draw against Kwara United at the Ilorin Township Stadium on Wednesday.
The Seasiders who secured four points from their two rescheduled games moved ahead of Wikki Tourists into third position on the log.
Kwara United who have won their last two league games since Tunde Sanni took charge of the team from Tunde Abdulrahman scored the opening goal through Dare Ojo in the ninth minute of the encounter.
They pinned the visitors into their own half for the majority of the first stanza but failed to double their advantage.
Wolves handler, Paul Aigbogun, however introduced topscorer Gbolahan Salami and Ikechukwu Ibenegbu after the restart and their entrance changed the complexion of the game as they started exerting pressure on the hosts.
They did not however have to wait too long for the equalizing goal as Ichull Lordson levelled scores in the 59th minute.
The Seasiders came close to scoring the winner when Sikiru Alimi’s well struck shot hit the woodwork.
