WBC Heavyweight Champion Deontay Wilder says he is still keen to fight Anthony Joshua in a Heavyweight unification fight.

Deontay Wilder insists he "can't wait" to take on Anthony Joshua in an undisputed world heavyweight title fight

Wilder will defend his WBC title against Dominic Breazeale on May 18 before Joshua defends his IBF, WBA and WBO gold belts against Jarrell 'Big Baby' Miller on June 1, live on Sky Sports Box Office.

But, although negotiations have stalled in the past, there is fresh hope that victories for Joshua and Wilder in their respective defences will set up what would be one of the biggest heavyweight fights in history.

Told that Joshua was eager to take him on, Wilder said: "Oh man, I can't wait for him either.

"I feel the same way about him (that I do Breazeale).

"Four months of negotiations and they knew they didn't want the fight. Stop. What more do I have to do for people?

"I've tried to show people and I'll continue to still prove that I am the best. I'll continue to give people the fights that they want to see. But they got to be in cooperation with my team as well too.

I have eaten some humble pie, I didn't expect Red Bull to be on the podium in Australia.Honda have clearly found power for Verstappen to be up Hamiltons chuff and be within spitting distance of him. But, lets be honest, Red Bull seem to have done it again, it looks to be the best chassis. Can you imagine it with a Mercedes or Ferrari engine? They knew what they were doing refusing and engine supply!

Yes, but they're 20th. The table shows the lowest points for each position, but in 20th position the lowest points tally is a tie between Derby and Sunderland on 10 points. huddersfield in 20th with 14 points is better than Derby and Sunderland's tally back in those seasons.

Lewis Hamilton, Sebastian Vettel fear Verstappen most, say Red Bull

As much as I love F1 and will always support it, what I want to see most of all is a massive improvement from all the other teams to stop the mundane spectacle F1 has become. The only thing Mercedes and Ferrari are possibly in fear of is the Red Bull chassis and it’s infamous handling and aerodynamic characteristics, hence the reason why they refused to supply engines. Mercedes and Hamilton, Ferrari and Vettel are not in fear of Red Bull and Verstappen, Horner must be cultivating and using a hallucinogenic substance all washed down with copious amounts of the energy drink if he truly thinks that.We all know how great the Red Bull chassis has been, can be and most certainly will be again while Newey is designing it, but unless Honda have miraculously pulled the rabbit out of the magicians hat and found at least 150 – 200 bhp more power and added reliability since the end of last season (that applies to Renault as well), then Red Bull are set to remain where they were on all except the tightest of circuits. What other drivers will be in fear of is Verstappen throwing his rattle and bottle out of the pram because of the lack of engine performance and making stupid moves to remain in a point’s paying position be it for the podium or just a single point.I’m fully expecting Verstappen and Gasly to have more incidents on and off track in 2019 than Verstappen had in total with Ricciardo and Ocon in 2018, let’s hope I’m wrong.

Odd that Butland has not been mentioned - granted he is no longer playing in the premier league. However not so long ago he was vying for the No.1 spot alongside Pickford in the World Cup.For me the top GK's as follows: Pickford (continuity) Heaton (current form) Third Spot - Toss up between Pope and Butland

Nothing. That's what we and F1 have learnt.Exactly the same as 2018 pre seasons testing:A team doesnt arrive as shedueled.Ferrari appear to be the bench mark and the fastestMercedes doing all long runs.McLaren setting fast times but on the softest tyre compound. What do we see in 2019, almost identical:A team doesn't arrive as scheduled.Ferrari appear to be the bench mark and the fastest.Mercedes doing all long runs. The only slight difference, more team have set fast times on the two softest compounds which means absolutely nothing.Everyone at Sky getting excited about all we have seen, yet it's an identical situation to 2018.Perhaps it's me hoping that a team had pulled the magic rabbit out of the hat and found a staggering amount of reliability, speed and downforce and would come out of the pits setting the air and circuit on fire similar to what Brawn did in 2009. 17th March is a long way away, between now, the next test week and the Australian grand prix we can only hope someone does find something otherwise we will be left watching the same as last season, watch the start, watch the mid field cars racing, then watch the finish.

People are talking about jb Holmes and dechambrea but what about Spieth taking 8 minutes when he thought his ball was oob last week when 8 off the lead and no chance of winning, tonight DJ asked for a ruling when his ball was on a water pipe, got ruling, dropped and hit his shot, hit another tree, played again onto the green two putted for a double in that time Spieth would have still been questioning his caddies yardage, my opinion Spieth, JB Holmes, De Chambreau, Kevin Naa are ruining the fun of watching golf never mind the players that have to play with them.

It would be a literal miracle if United managed to finish top 4 this season. I think for United fans we shouldn't forget just how far off we were when Solkjaer took over from the Incompetent One. The season had been an absolute write off on all fronts and now we have a very real chance of finishing fourth (maybe even third now) and are having a great run in the FA cup too. I still think with how much harder our run in is compared to everybody else's combined with our insane injury list right now we should still be considered the underdogs here, but regardless of what ends up happening the second half of this season has been really encouraging and with a bit of added depth to the squad we can start to look to be more competitive next season.

Manchester United squad tops Premier League for transfer cost per point
      Qwertyuq2ertty

What a revalation! Obviously after Mourinho's implosion of a start to the season United's points to squad cost ratio would be high. Of course, this article is using the randomly inflated prices for united's transfer fees. We paid 89 million of Pogba and 75 so far for Lukaku (and might never pay the full 90 if we sell him before his performances pick up). Which leads me to believe theu're probably inflating all United's transfer fees and probably other clubs too to make the numbers look more 'shocking'. (I've seen sky claim that United paid over 60 million for fred for example despite our very publicly documented activation of his 52 million release clause). Transfer fees in the current market are already ridiculous, so I really don't understand the need of news outlets to pretend they cost even more for the sake of a headline. If United's squad cost closer to 13 million per point that's still a pretty impressive number.

How can Manchester United beat Paris Saint-Germain in the Champions League?

Anything can happen in a one-off game. PSG know that better than anybody after their embarrassment against Barcelona 2 years ago. United are massive underdogs obviously but all we can do is have a go at it and see what happens. I hope we manage to make a game out of it and the kids in midfield make a good account of themselves.

A fantastic and TRUE artical, however these nearly seasons will soon take its toll on the players. Eriksen looks a shadow of the player he was (I think he is gone in the summer) and I’m sure if he leaves this will trigger a potential exodus, with Toby also not signing a contract. Next season will truly outline the clubs ambitions. Sometime it is not all about big money and huge wage signings (are academy looks in great shape) I believe that Daniel Levy and Joe Lewis have done super job brining the club in to a new era and we are now equipped for the biggest and best in Europe. A few new faces and matching Toby and Christian with Harry we will be in the mix for real! Our club has a lot of positives these days keep the faith !COYS

Ugly behaviour, utterly unnecessary. It's almost as if this would be a big story if it was near enough anyone else... Because it's a serial offender though, it's par for the course and doesn't need so much as a proper slap on the wrists.
